YEDA stands for Youth Equestrian Development Association. This national organization is dedicated to helping young riders expand their showing experience by providing a professional environment to grow their skills without the stress or expense of horse ownership. This organization emphasizes exposure to scholarship opportunities and allows riders to connect with collegiate equestrian teams and programs.
Everyone! YEDA provides classes for Grades 4-12 and college students of all riding levels. Those who are not yet old enough to officially join YEDA can still participate in team practices and attend team events and shows to support their future teammates.
No! Horses are available for rent at each show. While this may seem intimidating, our practices will prepare our Show Team to be successful when attending these events.
Our YEDA team practices twice a month at the barn in small groups. Groups will be structured based on skill level in order to keep practices comprehensive for everyone. Small groups allow for the team to grow close and work together while still receiving personalized instruction.
YEDA shows are competitive, fun and low pressure. Horses can be rented at these events. The horses provided at the shows are retired show horses and well mannered lesson horses that are all held to a high standard by the hosts and judges of the competition. Shows are very well organized and put together so the day can run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Diamond T19 provides a show coach at all YEDA shows to help the riders every step of the way. Whether it's adjusting clothes, walking through patterns one last time or helping calm nerves… Your coach will help you do your best both inside and outside of the ring at every show.
Attire required to show, must be either black or coordinate with shirt .
